Milwaukee Organ Connections: Featured Performances on Pipedreams

The national radio program Pipedreams from American Public Media is one of the finest public resources on organ music and organs. While it has unfortunately disappeared from Wisconsin’s public radio programming, it is available via Internet radio listening on demand at http://pipedreams.publicradio.org. The nearest radio outlet that carries the program is WFMT, Chicago, Sundays at 10 pm (http://wfmt.com). WFMT, at 98.7 FM, is sometimes barely receivable in the southern part of the Milwaukee metro area and in the southeastern part of Wisconsin, but Internet radio will of course be much more satisfying listening.

This is a list of programs that feature Milwaukee- or area-related content –  instruments, organ builders, and performers. If you are aware of Milwaukee connections that are not clear from this writer’s knowledge, or obvious from the Pipedreams listing, please e-mail .
