The Milwaukee
Organ Book

This is the first ever produced book of organ music composed and published by members of the Milwaukee Wisconsin Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. This idea springs from a music “sharing” program at Fox Point Lutheran Church. On February 5th, 2011, Gene Traas performed his Trumpet Tune in G, noting that it was unpublished. A query followed about any other Chapter members’ unpublished organ compositions. Soon after the chapter event, The AGO-Milwaukee Executive Board authorized exploration of an Organ Book project. After three years of volunteer work: solicitation and submission of scores, transcription and editing of music, research and planning for publication, this first MILWAUKEE ORGAN BOOK is here to be enjoyed by all.

All proceeds from the sales of this book are being donated to the Milwaukee AGO Chapter.
