Don’t Miss the Catherine Rodland Organ Concert: An Afternoon of Musical Brilliance Awaits
Music lovers and cultural enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Sunday, February 22nd at 3:30 PM, the Steiner-Reck Pipe Organ in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant at Concordia University Wisconsin, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, WI, will come alive with the thunderous, majestic sounds of the 68-rank pipe organ in a concert you won’t want to miss. The event promises a mesmerizing experience featuring acclaimed organist Dr. Catherine Rodland, Artist in Residence - Organ and Theory at Saint Olaf College.
The program includes beloved classics by Bach, Buxtehude, and Mendelssohn, as well as works by women composers, including Fanny Hensel (nee Mendelssohn), Ethel Smythe, Florence Price, Nadia Boulanger, and Cecelia McDowell.
All are welcome—whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to organ music, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable afternoon of music and hymn singing. Concordia University Security Policy requires all persons to access the Chapel of Christ Triumphant at The Welcome Center Entrances, then follow the internal corridors and signs.
