Do you love to sing hymns? In celebration of the new pipes on our Martin Ott tracker organ, Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church, is hosting a
Hymn Festival for Trinity Sunday
for anyone and everyone who loves to sing! The Festival includes the choirs of Pilgrim and Trinity Lutheran Churches, as well as the
Master Singers of Milwaukee
, under the direction of
Dr. John Behnke
of Concordia, who will be playing our newly completed (two new stops) Ott organ. The lineup includes an array of beloved hymns such as Holy, Holy Holy, Crown Him with Many Crowns, and O God, Our Help in Ages Past. Each hymn receives special treatment with additional instrumentation, choir, and Behnke’s creative harmonizations. The Festival takes place at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2664 N 68th St, Milwaukee, WI, Trinity Sunday, June 15, 2014, at 3:00pm. (NOT the morning service!)
