Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church, Ellison Bay
Internationally acclaimed concert organist Ken Cowan
joined the faculty of the Shepherd School of Music at
Rice University in 2012 as head of the organ program; he
continues to concertize widely. At Shepherd of the Bay,
he will appear in a duo concert with his wife, violinist Lisa
Shihoten. A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and
the Yale School of Music, Lisa made her New York solo
debut at Avery Fisher Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra. In
addition to her active career as chamber musician, recitalist, and teacher, she regularly tours the U.S. in duo recital with Ken.
