TAIZE PRAYER SERVICE
Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, 6 pm
St. Matthias Episcopal Church
100 East Main St. (Main St. and East Ave)
Waukesha, WI
The musicians of St. Matthias Episcopal, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic and other churches will combine to lead this service.
Interested choir members or musicians who wish to assist in the musical leadership should be to the church by 4:30 for the musician rehearsal.
A light reception is planned after the service.
Taizé is an international, ecumenical movement of prayer. Taizé services are contemplative in nature and consist of music, readings, and periods of silence.
The intention is to still the soul in order to invite the presence of God into our lives to bring peace and unity.
