Michael T. C. Hey
MICHAEL THOMAS CRISOSTOMO HEY is a student at the Juilliard School with the Alice Tully full-tuition scholarship. He studies organ in the studio of Professor Paul Jacobs, chairman of the organ department.
In February 2009, he won the American Guild of Organists Twin Cities Chapter Organ Competition. In June 2009, he placed second in the RCYO/Quimby Regional Competition for Young Organists in Wichita, Kansas. Michael Hey is a member of the AGO and holds its Colleague Certificate.
A native of Waukesha, Wi, Michael has studied organ with Sister Mary Jane Wagner and piano with Curtis Stotlar at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. He has performed throughout the United States and enjoys transcribing and premiering music for organ and piano.
