Gesu Parish is pleased to celebrate the dedication of its Schantz pipe organ. This instrument is the culmination of a 116-year journey of music in our sacred space, and preserves the heritage of its predecessors. Ten different pipemakers are represented in the ensemble, including Kimball, Kilgen, Wangerin, Johnson and Schantz.
As part of this celebration, we will have three concerts to dedicate the instrument. Our series of monthly concerts will resume in July, 2011. Free-will offerings will be accepted.

We are honored that Mr. Weissrock will give the inaugural concert of this grand instrument.
The program includes pieces by J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, Johannes Brahms, Lynwood Farnam, Maurice Durufle, Max Reger, Samuel Barber, Marcel Dupre, Sir Walford Davies, and Julius Reubke.
