Mark Fideldy
, of Minneapolis Minnesota has been an organ student of Dr. Kristina Langlois since January, 2000. In 2002 he took his first organ job as the interim organist at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Minneapolis. In 2005 Mark passed the Service Playing Exam with the American Guild of Organists, and was the winner of the Minnesota Music Teachers' Association Young Artist Organ Competition. In 2005 he also accepted his first staff organist position at Eternal Hope Lutheran Church in Minneapolis where he remained through 2009. In 2010, Mark self-published a collection of music for the Winter seasons of the church. The book, entitled "4 For Winter" is available through Mark.
Mark is currently attending Minneapolis Community and Technical College where he is pursuing a degree in Business Administration. His hope is to work a combined position in church administration and church music. He currently serves on the office staff of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church.
Mark serves often as a substitute organist, concertizes regularly in the Minneapolis area, and is an active member of the Twin Cities chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Admission to this recital is free. A freewill offering will be accepted.
