The Milwaukee Area Messiah Community Chorus and Orchestra (www.mamcco.org) will present its annual spring concert at 3:00pm Sunday, April 29. 2018 at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 2041 W Chapel Hill Rd, Mequon, WI 53097. The 13-piecce professional orchestra, 4 professional soloists and 40-voice chorus will be under the direction of Founding Conductor Brian Dearing. Mr. Dearing will also give a brief pre-concert talk at 2:30pm about the composers and the music, which includes Franz Schubert’s Mass in B-flat major (D 324 – op. post. 141), Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, and Franz Joseph Haydn’s Missa Cellensis in C (Kleine Mariazeller Messe, Hob. XXII:8). Admission is free of charge. A freewill offering will be taken for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission (www.milmission.org).
