7pm -- Peter Conte, Organist, with Andrew Essin, flugelhorn

As Grand Court Organist of the Wanamake Organ in Macy's
Center City, Philadelphia, Peter Conte performs concerts twice
daily, six days a week, on the world's largest fully-functional
organ. Expect to hear a mix of musical styles--from classical
organ repertoire to music à la Wanamaker, balancing high
culture with popular selections. Mr. Conte is highly regarded as
a skillful performer known for his humor, grace and virtuosity. The
program will include several of his organ transcriptions, some of
which will feature flugel-hornist Andrew Essin, whose recent
concertizing with Mr. Conte has been enthusiastically received.
