Registration:  $15.00 per person/$25.00 per choir (includes a director and up to 4 singers for a total of 5 persons)

Music will be available for purchase at the conclusion of the repertoire session.  (Music is not included in the registration fee.)  Early registration is encouraged.


Scott Weidler has served the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest Lutheran denomination in North America with 5 million members, as Program Director for Worship and Music since 1995.  He is ELCA liaison to the National Board of the Leadership Program for Musicians (LPM), as well as having served on the advisory council of the Institute for Liturgical Studies at Valparaiso University and the Board of Directors for the Lutheran Summer Music Program.  He is also the Cantor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Chicago.

Prior to his current positions, Mr. Weidler served congregations in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida in various music and teaching capacities.  He also served twelve summers with the Lutheran Music Program and taught six years Lebanon Valley College’s Church Music Institute (Annville, PA.)  Mr. Weidler has earned degrees in education, music, and liturgy from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska, Wittenburg University, Springfield, Ohio, and the University of Notre Dame.  He resides in East Rogers Park on Chicago’s north side.
