Wisconsin Chapter of the OHS Organ Crawl

Yes, everybody, it’s that time of year; our marathon organ crawl will be taking place on April 1st (the Friday after Easter). This crawl will visit seven organs in the area of Watertown and Reeseville including two Hinners (& Albertsen) trackers, a late Robert Morton church organ, a Maxcy-Barton church organ, a very rare example of Illinois builder Richard Jackson's work, plus modern trackers by J. W. Walker and Darren Wissinger. The full itinerary of the tour runs as follows:

9:00 A.M.Mamre Moravian Church, Watertown (1897 Hinners and Albertsen)

10:00 A.M.Trinity Lutheran Church, Reeseville (Maxcy-Barton)

11:00 A.M. First U. C. C., Reeseville (1915 Hinners)

12:00 P.M. Lunch on one's own

1:30 P.M. Seventh Day Adventist, Watertown (1929 Robert Morton)

2:30 P.M. Saint Bernard's Catholic, Watertown (Richard Jackson/Wangerin/Freeport)

4:00 P.M. Good Shepherd Lutheran, Watertown (1991 J. W. Walker)

5:?? P.M.Gemütlichkeit and Dinner

7:30 P.M.Trinity Lutheran, Watertown (1991 Wissinger)

The cost of the crawl is $10, to be paid at the crawl; this includes neither lodging nor meals. Do, however, notify Fr. Tom Lijewski (262-365-3450), if you are planning to attend so the necessary arrangements my be made.
