Marilyn Schemmp
Marilyn Schempp is organ and oboe instructor and chapel organist at Augustanna College in Sioux Falls SD. She has served as an adjudicator for Piano Guild Auditions and other contests and festivals throughout the Midwest.

She is also the principal organist and assistant music director at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, where she directs a children’s choir and a women’s choir in addition to serving as organist. She has held regional and local leadership roles in the Music Teacher’s National Organization (MTNA), the American Guild of Organists (AGO) and the Region VI Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.

Marilyn has performed on oboe, harpsichord, piano and organ with the South Dakota Symphony and has played oboe with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Augustana College in both vocal and instrumental music, and her master of music degree in organ performance is from the University of South Dakota.
